Michael Edward Larsen

Michael Edward Larsen, 74, passed away Tuesday, November 29th in Puyallup, WA. He was born in Tacoma, WA on December 20th, 1947. He was a graduate of Stadium High School and Green River Community College. Michael proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam war from 1967 – 1972. He also had a 30-year career at the Pierce County Sheriff’s department from 1978 - 2008.

Michael enjoyed fishing, classic cars, listening to Elvis Presley and spending time with his family and attending the Washington Huskies football games.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Lhyn; his 3 daughters Melissa, Amie, and Jonalyn and 3 grandsons, Hunter, Parker, and Mikey Jr. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Tom, and Pat along with many nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup on Friday December 16th, 2022. The viewing will be from 10am – 1pm, the funeral service will start at 1pm with a reception to follow. The burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent on Tuesday, December 20th at 1pm.
