John R Anderle “Rudy”, age 55, was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend and
Teacher passed away suddenly on November 5th 2022.
John was born on March 7th 1967 in Tacoma Washington to Betty and Robert Anderle. John was raised in Puyallup where he attended elementary, junior and senior high school in the Puyallup School District. He graduated from Rogers High School Class of 1985, where he was a well respected classmate and student while being very involved in football, wrestling, and the arts program. John always had a knack for art, as a little boy he never went anywhere without a clip board, paper and pen. After he graduated from Rogers, John went on to study art at Green River Community College where he spent two years in the arts program. He continued his passion for art for an additional two years at the Art Institute of Seattle, where he received an associates degree in Applied Arts. John enjoyed expressing his artistic abilities through many different avenues such as; graphic design, drawing, photography, music, and woodworking. He spent his adult life building a successful career in graphic design, and worked at several firms in the Seattle/Tacoma area as well as the Los Angeles area.
John married his fellow classmate Marcy Schultz in 1990, with whom he had two beautiful children, Mathias and Brittney. He enjoyed raising his children and mentoring others, he was a devoted soccer coach for ten years in his community. He cherished spending time with family outdoors camping, fishing, and hiking. He shared his passion for music with his son Mathias and his love for animals and photography with his daughter Brittney.
Anyone who knew John knew he was a social butterfly, he loved putting a smile on your face and hearing laughter in your voice. He was a very loving and giving man, he would give you the shirt off his back even if it meant he had to go without. He touched everyone that knew him in each chapter of his life. He wanted to continue spreading his love and artistic abilities to the younger generation and became a teacher at Puyallup High School for his last 4 years of impactful life. He loved teaching his students about photography, assembling the yearbook, and finding the right lens to look through. John taught his students that there is always more to life if you just change the lens.
