Willie Stoneburner

Fay went to be with her Lord on March 2, 2019. She was born July 21, 1935 in Elgin Texas. She is survived by her husband, Roy, six children, Royce Poynter, Weldon Stoneburner, Brenda (Bob) Holmes, Keith (Colleen) Stoneburner, Karl Stoneburner and Beverly Wilcoxson. numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Mamie King and Linda Fugate. Fay married Roy December 22, 1953 in Elgin, Texas where he was stationed in the Air Force. They moved their family many times settling in Tacoma, Washington when he retired. She was a stay at home mom until the youngest was 16. She went to work for Weight Watchers as a leader and mentor to many for 16 years. Wanting a change she became a receptionist for Group Health Optical were she worked for many years until she retired to travel with Roy. They traveled around the country in their motor home, making many trips to Roy's home in Richmondale Ohio and to her home town in Texas. They also belonged to the Good Sam Daffodil Ramblers and camped with the chapter all over Washington state. Fay loved to sew, making clothes for her children and grandchildren. Then she started quilting. She made many quilts for family and loved ones that will always be cherished. Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home.
