Vivian Louise Fuchs

Vivian was born in Eatonville WA. On November 25, 1939, to Ida Isabell Rich and Eugene Powell Smith. Where attend Eatonville school, where she graduated from Eatonville high school. Vivian spent most of her life in east Lewis County. When they retired, they did so in Grand Coulee. Vivian passed away on October 21, 2023, in Grand Coulee, Washington. She was 83 years old.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Robert (Jerry) Fuchs and their children Chris (Gary) Dorning, Jonathan Anderson, Betty (Wayne) Tyner, Nancy Fuchs, Denise Fuchs-Jagielo, Robert (Deidra) Fuchs Jr and Bruce (Erica) Fuchs. 21 Grandchildren 27 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, 2 sisters Babe Morris and Cindy Gonzales and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Darlene, Betty Rose, brother Bud, son Dennis Fuchs, daughter Kathleen Anderson, 1 great grandson 2 great-great granddaughters and 5 nephews. She loved her family with her whole heart.

Vivian was very creative, it showed with the gifts she gave them. It was a labor of love from the Afghan’s to the Christmas decorations that she made them.  She taught anyone that needed to learn how to swim, how to. She didn’t care to swim in the lakes, she did so for us. She loved to dance and taught us all. Most likely we scared her while learning to drive, she could control the car from the passenger side with her hand on the dash. We learn how to sew, can, garden many survival needs. We learn very good work ethics. Many things we all need to survive in this world today.

If you needed help, Mom and Jerry were there first and last to leave. It just didn’t matter if you needed help, you got. This is a trait that I am thankful they passed on. She was stern, but we all kept her on her toes. She picked on her loved ones which kept them on their toes. Jerry and she loved to be together, where you found one, you found the other. From fixing fence, wrestling cows or coming to cheer one of us on. They love to travel United States to see family and friends, either on their motorcycle or motorhome. They loved to go to the old car shows or just go for a ride. They loved to fish, Mom loved to best us in fishing, which she did often.
