Vicky Lynn Rathbun was born in Seattle, Washington on October 6, 1959 to Robin Alfred and Barbara Rathbun. She spent her youth playing in the Puyallup Valley, picking berries in the local fields, playing softball, and was an active Campfire Girl. She started working for Georges TacoTime and worked the Puyallup Fair for many years running the TacoTime stand. She worked so many years at the Fair it was like a second home.
In 1988 she started working at St. Joseph's Hospital as a phlebotomist, lab tech, and eventually a supervisor. There she made many friends in her 30+ years of service. Over the years she enjoyed motorcycle rides, going to the beach, camping, greyhound rescue, crafting, and spending time with friends and family. Vicky was always lending a hand to anyone in need and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her nephews Richard J. Rathbun, Robin L. Rathbun; cousins Dawna L. Rhodes, Kevin Rhodes, Gretchen Ekstedt McKendry, and Christy Westover; as well as many more friends and family members.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Puyallup Eagles from 1:00-3:00pm. The Eagles hall is located at 1106 E Main Avenue, Puyallup, WA 98372.
