Timothy B Hurley

Timothy B. Hurley, of Puyallup, WA, passed away surrounded by the love of his family- his wife of 43 years, Ann, and his two daughters, Steffanee and Stacy. He is survived by his sisters, Cassandra and Denise, his brother Richard, his grandchildren Mason, Brady and Sydney, amongst other close family members and the friends that became family.

Born in South Bend, WA, Tim spent the majority of his adult life in Puyallup, where he was known for his joyful spirit, coffee stand antics, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

A devoted fan of the Seahawks, Mariners, and—most importantly—whichever sports team his grandchildren were on that season, Tim was the kind of person who cheered the loudest and supported the hardest. His love for his family extended beyond sports, as he was the ultimate family man, always bringing laughter and joy into every room he entered. Known as the family clown, he had a gift for making others laugh, even if it meant being the punchline of his own jokes.

Tim treasured the family camping weekends and the fishing trips to Alaska he shared with his late father, Cliff Hurley, and often spoke fondly of those moments.

Forever dedicated to his sobriety, Tim found happiness in watching others accomplish their own personal goals. He was an advocate, a confidant, an accountability partner, and was the quickest to forgive with empathy and understanding. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, like his beloved pedicures, and always embraced the chance to take time for self-care and relaxation.

He will be remembered as a loving and loyal husband, a caring father, and a proud Papa. His humor, warmth, and big heart will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Puyallup Nazarene Church located at 1026 7th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA 98371 with a Celebration of Life immediately following at Pioneer Park Pavilion located at 330 S Meridian, Puyallup, WA 98371.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you cheer loudly for your favorite team, enjoy a good laugh, buy someone a coffee, get a pedicure, and remember the love and joy Tim brought into the world.
