Tanya Harden Raven died unexpectedly on April 7, 2018 in a tragic car crash. She was born December 7, 1960 in Akron, Colorado to Mae and Lavern Harden. Tanya is preceded in death by her mother, Mae Harden; brother Alva Harden; and brother-in-law, Walt Predovich. She is survived by her father, Lavern Harden; sisters, Jerri Harden (Neil Anderson); Barbara Harden Predovich; and brother Rob Harden (Jamie). Her five children were the light of her life and are deeply grieving her loss; Matthew Raven (Mistie); Heather Raven; Desiree Raven Herman (David); Halley Raven; and Bryce Raven. She is also survived by her special aunt, Maxine Niewald (Fred), and cousins Karen Smith and John smith, and a life-long friend, Tracy Reda, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Tanya has three grandchildren; Trinity, Dominic, and Zora Raven. Tanya split her early years between Colorado and Tacoma, Washington. She spent her adult years as an Air Force wife, moving to Germany, Utah, Kansas, and finally to rejoin her family in Puyallup, Washington. Tanya made friends everywhere she traveled. She was a lifelong learner, who loved reading and any king of brain game or puzzle. Tanya was true to her Colorado roots and remained an avid Denver Broncos fan wherever she lived. Her children and family were her greatest treasures. We will miss her quick-wit, her corny sense of humor, her opinions on many topics, and her fabulous pie making skills. We lost her far too soon. Please make donations in Tanya's name to the Pierce County Library or the Pierce County Chapter of the American Heart Association. Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home.
