Steve Breiting was born November 17, 1949 and passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 73.
He was the owner of Hydraulics Northwest and ran the business for over 40 years.
Steven’s passions were his family, friends, and his lifelong interest in old cars. His old car hobby began in his early teens, and he restored several cars and won many awards during his lifetime.
He was a mentor to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand and share his mechanical knowledge.
Going to swap meets and discovering new treasures while visiting with friends also brought him great enjoyment.
He was a member of the Tacoma Model A Club, the V8 Ford Club, MAFCA, MARC, and a National Master Judge for the Model A Ford Club of America.
Other hobbies including hunting, fishing, and boating.
Steve is survived by his wife of 54 years Vicky Breiting, his children, Kim Shannon, Jay (Shelley) Breiting, and his 4 grandchildren, Riley (Leanna) Shannon, Brandon Hordyk, Aiden and Colton Breiting. His siblings Terry (Sylvia) Breiting and Sandy Hermansen.
The people in his life meant the world to him and his loss will be felt by many.
