Stephanie Elizabeth Foote

October 25, 1984 — April 8, 2021

Stephanie Elizabeth Foote was born into this world on October 25, 1984 at Auburn General Hospital.   It was a time before COVID-19 and back when you could smoke cigarettes in a hospital.  Stephanie was a cute baby and grew into a inquisitive and impish child, like the times she would hide in the garment racks and would hear you calling for her but would stay silent with her devilish grin as you lost your mind in the shopping mall looking for her.

Stephanie spent most of her life in the Fife-Milton area, graduating from Fife High School in 2003.  Stephanie spent a little time in Kingman, Arizona but made her way back to Washington to help care for her Grandma Sue.  Stephanie was a graduate of Ashmead Massage School and attended Carpentry and Bartending School.

Stephanie was a fan of all types of music, from the Backstreet Boys to ELO.  She was our resident music guru for our weekly, Tuesday trivia nights at The Mill Restaurant.  We won a lot of trivia games because of Stephanie as she knew the young artists from the 2000s that us old people didn’t have a clue.  Stephanie was artsy, creative and imaginative, we have several of her drawings and pinch pot creations.  Stephanie was also a smart young woman, although she didn’t push herself like we know she could.

Stephanie’s greatest accomplishment was the birth of her son, Damien Hart.  She was proud of Damien and loved him as only a mother loves a child.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Maryellen (Sue) Person and her grandmother Lillian Foote.

Stephanie is survived by her son, Damien Hart of Auburn, WA; mother, Deneen Person (Brandon Renner) of Auburn, WA ; sisters Genevieve Holstine of Tacoma, WA and Kurstin Shuffelen (Douglas) of Graham, WA and brother Daniel Foote of Kent, WA; grandfather Jerry Person (Elaine Sheppard) of Auburn, WA; aunts Erin Person of Auburn, WA and Beth Deel (Jesse) of Centralia, WA;  niece, Aaliyah Therianos of Boston, MA;  nephews, Douglas Shuffelen Jr., Jayden Davis Shuffelen, Mason Shuffelen of Graham, WA , Andr’e Westbrook of Port Orchard, WA; boyfriend, LaQuano Reynolds of Auburn, WA;  and long time friends, The Leenstra and Fike Families and many, many more friends and extended family.

Stephanie was a beautiful, old soul.  Although she was only with us for a brief moment in time, her wit, charm, beauty, kindness and love will last those left behind a lifetime of fond memories.  Stephanie was that bright light in a dark tunnel and we find comfort knowing she is now surrounded by God’s love and those that went before her.

A celebration of life will be held at the home of her grandfather, Jerry Person, located at 3423 S. 368th Place, Auburn, WA 98001 on May 8th at 3pm.
