Stanley Lay

Stanley Heaps Lay 6/21/35 - 3/14/19 Stanley was born to Harvey and Bessie Lay in Provo, Utah. He was raised in Escalante, Utah where his father died while he was still a baby. At 13, he moved to Tacoma with his mother and step father. He graduated from Stadium High School and went on to long careers in the Army National Guard and Foss Maritime. Whatever he put his time into, he was very passionate about it, doing anything small was never an option! Much of his time was given to model airplanes (and real planes) and trains, building just about anything, his impeccable yard, genealogy, serving his church and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Harvey and Laura and daughter Ruth. He leaves behind his children, Randy Lay(Shoko), Renee Holford, John Lay and Dana Munson (Art) and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home.
