Shawn Michael Jensen

Shawn Michael Jensen was born in Tacoma, Washington on June 6, 1978, and passed away on June 2, 2023, after a brief battle with colon cancer. Shawn graduated from Bellarmine High School in 1996, and later from Saint Martin’s University with his Master’s Degree. Shawn built a 16-year career at T-Mobile, and loved his work and the many coworkers who became friends.

Shawn’s hobbies were varied – working on cars, learning new coding languages, mastery of lawn care, home bartending, and drinking all the tiki drinks. Shawn was an avid concert-goer and music lover, collecting guitar picks, posters, and t-shirts along the way. He loved sharing his passion for live music, especially with his best concert buddies – his lifelong friend Matt, father Raymond, stepdaughter Ashley, and wife Julie. His favorite pastime, though, was traveling to Disney parks with his family.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Julie Jensen; his children, Joseph and Ashley; and his parents, Raymond and Renee Jensen. Shawn met Julie in 2012, they were engaged in 2019, married in March 2022, and welcomed their child, Joseph, in December 2022. Shawn was a loving husband, adoring father, devoted son, and committed friend.
