Shari L. Nagrodski, 67, of Puyallup, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Shari was born to Edith Bonham in Alhambra, CA on October 23, 1956. She then moved to Tacoma, WA in 1957, and graduated from Stadium High School in 1975. She was known for her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family.
She dedicated 37 years of her life to NW Cascade, where she exemplified dedication and commitment to her work. She left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with her.
Shari had a zest for life and found joy in simple pleasures. She adored spending sunny days at the beach, feeling the warmth of the sun and the soothing rhythm of the waves. She had a deep love for nature to where she loved planting flowers and feeding the birds. Her garden was a testament to her passion and care, a place where she found peace and joy.
In addition to her love of leisure activities, Shari was an avid bowler and softball player. She cherished team sports and friendly competition. Her passion for sports brought her closer to her community and created lasting memories with friends and teammates.
Above all, Shari's greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family. Whether gathering for holiday celebrations, backyard barbecues, or impromptu game nights, Shari cherished every moment she spent with her loved ones. Her nurturing presence and unconditional love created a strong bond that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed by her children, son, Jeffery; daughter, Kelly; daughter-in-law, Jennifer and her grandchildren, Alyssa and Ryan as well as many other friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter "Skip" Nagrodski; mother, Edith Bonham, and in-laws, Peter and Elsie Nagrodski.
Shari's vibrant spirit and enduring love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished.
A celebration of Shari's life will be held at a later date.
