Scott Alan Mcnairy

Scott was born on October 25, 1969 at Madigan General Hospital and passed away at the age of 53 on June 26, 2023.  He is survived by his son, Finn, his girlfriend, Julie Hernandez, and his parents, Roy and Becky McNairy.  Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa.

Scott attended Rogers High School and graduated in 1988.  He graduated from Western Washington University in 1994 with a degree in business and economics.  He worked at many companies including Microsoft, Starbucks, Expeditors, WICRESOFT North America Co. and lastly Zen 3 Info Solutions in the IT field.

Growing up Scott enjoyed riding his bike and took part in BMX racing.  He learned to ride a unicycle and could oven juggle balls at the same time.  He spent many days swimming, skiing and boating at his grandparent’s home on Lake Tapps.  As a young adult weight lifting became a hobby.

He was 46 when he had his only child, Finn.  He loved Finn very much and loved playing with him.  There were parks close by where the two of them could shoot hoops, kick the soccer ball back and forth, enjoy sledding in the snow or just spend time throwing a ball to Gracie, Scott’s dog.  He also took Finn and Julie and on the trails in his prized Jeep including many trips to the ocean beaches, a favorite place for  Scott.  I am sure Finn will remember those outings with his dad.

Scott had a good life although all too short.  He was loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
