Roxana Barbara Whittier

Roxana Barbara Whittier of Graham passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on May 14th, 2018. She was born to Ian Knocker and Lillian Dawson September 7th, 1938 in North Powder, Oregon. Roxana married the love of her life, Charles Whittier, on July 20th, 1970. Together they raised eight wonderful children. At one point, she attended cosmetology school but later found her place as the Lead Custodian for the Puyallup School District. Roxana was known for being an active member of the children's PTA groups throughout their school years. She lived her life for her children and husband. The love she had for people would shine brightly and draw them to her. She will be remembered for her love of horseback riding, her garden, and blue butterflies. Roxana is preceded in death by her parents, Ian and Lillian Knocker, her daughter Elaine Gribble, son Bill Whittier, brothers Clifford and Clarence Stichler. She is survived by daughters Shirley Scheck, Robin McClintock (Brent), Tammy Perriella (Todd), Teresa Miller, Tracy Kouri, Barbie Bundy (Steve), as well as many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
