Nirmala Devi Narayan was born as the eldest child to Ram and Kamala Narayan in Suva, Fiji Islands. Later in life, she came to be known as Rosie, a name that resonated with her beauty and grace.
She completed primary and secondary education in Fiji before moving to the United States in 1967. She continued her education at Southwest Oregon Community College where she obtained her Associates degree in data processing. She worked in data processing, gaining experience and pioneering in a field that had barely begun to emerge.
On May 25, 1973, she was presented with her greatest gift, her daughter Audra.
Rosie had many interests and hobbies. Her enjoyment in baking led to the creation of her business, Three Bears Catering. Being an entrepreneur led to her creating a second business in cleaning.
Rosie's faith in the Lord started at an early age. It is this faith that guided her through all of life's trials and tribulations. Though she may have strayed along the way, she always found her way back. It was this faith that gave her the strength to battle her illnesses.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joshua Narayan . She is survived by her daughter Audra Mala Narain, four siblings, Ramola Saini, Urmila Jhattu, Ben Narayan and Suresh Narayan, nieces and nephews, and grand dog Hachi.
" I am the resurrection and the life, Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believe in me shall never die" - John 11:25
