Rose Elaine Belshay

Rose "Elaine" Belshay Elaine was born October 6, 1931 to Lawrence "Jack" and Rose Kendley in Forsyth, MT. She grew up in Tacoma and attended Lincoln High School. She worked as a carhop at Busch's Restaurant, a food server at Puyallup High School, as well as a waitress and meat wrapper at Safeway. She loved golfing, tole painting and playing bingo. Elain was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Mary, granddaughter Laurie Been, and her husband of 56 years, Richard. She is survived by her son Richard (Melodie) Belshay Jr., son Mark Belshay, daughters Diane (Roger) Cox, Connie Belshay and Karen Belshay, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and her special friend, Ron Neslund who made her final 11 years as happy as possible. A memorial mass to celebrate Elaine's life will be held on December 14th, at 11:00am at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 1101 N "J" Street, in Tacoma with a reception following.
