Ronald Aden Koecke

Ronald Koecke, age 71, of Tacoma, WA passed away September 1, 2024. He is survived by two brothers, two children, two grandchildren, and countless friends.

Ron grew up in South Hill, WA where he attended Rogers High. He served in the United States Navy as a submariner. After his service he went home where he lived in the greater Tacoma area the rest of his life, where he enjoyed fishing, camping, and biking. He was a proud IBEW member while he worked for Tacoma Power until he retired early at 55. He enjoyed travelling and crossed the country numerous times in his RV, visiting all 48 contiguous states. He loved philosophy, mathematics, art, and so much more. He made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories he shared.
Our family is grateful to know that Ron is finally at peace.

A viewing will be held at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup on September 9th at 10:00AM, all are welcome.  Ron's funeral service will follow the viewing at 11:00am.
