Roberta M Ballard

Roberta Shilling Ballard was born in Electron, Washington on December 9, 1923. She passed away at home in Orting, Washington on November 25, 2018. She graduated from Kapowsin High School in 1942. Bobbie worked at VA hospitals during World War II at Fort Lewis in Alabama. After the death of her husband in 1972 she studied office management and worked as an office manager. With her willingness and dedication to serve others, Bobbie volunteered for 29 years at the Orting Soldiers Home and 14 years at the Orting Senior Center. Roberta is survived by her four children (Gene, Gretchen, Jon and Phil), 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their children. She will truly be missed.
