On Saturday September 18th 2021 Pena Savea, loving husband, brother and uncle passed away at age 50 in Puyallup, WA.
Pena was born and raised in Faganeanea American Samoa. He was an amazing brother, uncle and friend to so many.
Pena had multiple skills in carpentry and culinary work within the family and community. Penas love and knowledge for his culture and cooking was always clear. He was a man of little words but could teach you to build a whole house with nothing but sound effects and facial expressions.
Pena met his best friend and wife here while visiting WA state and they would marry August 26th 2007 in Reno, Nevada. Happily married for 14 wonderful years.
Pena was known for his quick wit, infectious smile and his kind compassionate spirit. His legacy of family, food, friendship and love will always be remembered.
He is survived by his wife Anna Savea and his many siblings, nieces and nephews on both sides of their family who will miss him dearly.
