Phyllis Gleim

Phyllis P. Gleim, passed away peacefully November 2nd in Milton, WA at 92 years of age. Phyllis was born May 11, 1926 in Aberdeen, WA, moved to Tacoma at a young age, graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944, and married Lester V. Gleim on January 1, 1948. They continued to live in Tacoma and raise their only child (Jerry) for the balance of their long, full lives. Phyllis was an accomplished seamstress and loved all kind of craft work. She was actively involved in PTA, Parliamentary Association and other clubs over the years. Phyllis also enjoyed bowling leagues with her many friends, as well as bowling in local, state and national tournaments. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father (William Walkama of Aberdeen, WA), and husband (Lester Gleim). She is survived by her brother, Bill Walkama (Aberdeen, WA and her son Jerry (wife, Robyn) (Orting, WA) Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home.
