Patricia Sue Schultz

Patricia Sue (Hawkins) Schultz 84 of Bonney Lake, WA. died peacefully in her sleep of congestive heart failure on June 12th, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her only daughter Patricia Jeanne Holyan of South Prairie, WA; her husband Louis Sherwood Schultz of Bonney Lake, WA; her only Brother Hanford Tamlin Hawkins, Jr of Bryn Mawr, WA; a sister Betty Lou Nielson of Kent, WA; and her parents Ruby Lucille (Cope) Hawkins of Renton, WA; Hanford Tamlin Hawkins of Quilcene, WA.

She is survived by two sisters Barbara Warren of Vancouver, WA and Kristine Wisdom of Moberly, MO.  Four sons Michael David of Keyport, WA; Steven Douglas of Tenino, WA; Jeffrey Darren of Graham, WA; and Brandon Dietrich of Bonney Lake, WA.  Four Grandchildren Jessica Kathryn; Joseph Michael; Jordan Douglas; and Jocelyn Brandy (Carly).  And two Great-Grandsons Andrew Craig and Forest Michael.

Pat was born in Renton and raised in Bryn Mawr, liked music (played her brother’s trombone in band and was in the church choir), reading, knitting.  But most of all, she loved children.  Married Louis in 1955 while he was attending college in Ellensburg.  Lived in Skyway for all the 60’s and In Pacific and Grays Harbor Counties for all of the 70’s.  She was co-mom to the Miller’s, Shellman’s, & Townsend’s to name a few.  She had a day care prior to moving to Alaska in 1980.  And while up there, taught preschool.    Pat and Lou settled in Bonney Lake at the end of the 90’s.  She seemed to be always surrounded by books.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Pat, her daughter and Son-in-Law Patty & Michael Holyan on the 30th of July 2023 from 2 – 5 PM at the Buckley Eagles    29021 HWY 410 98321
