Opal Charlene Neagle

The Matriarch of our family, Opal “Charlene” Neagle (Sandusky) passed away peacefully July 6th, 2023 at the age of 91. Born in Bosworth , Missouri , Opal is survived by her three children: Robert W. Brown (Kathy), Sandra K. Roos (Rick), Judy K. Pharris (Greg). Grandchildren Todd Roos (Leah), Chelsey Roos, Katie McGunagle (Mark), Shawn Pharris (Emily).

Great-grandchildren- Lillian, Eleanor, Marley, Chesney, Maple and Charlotte. Opal was always someone you could count on, whether  it was watching her grandchildren after school or sitting in hospital rooms for emotional support. She would do so with a smile on her face.

As Opal’s memory slowly succumbed to dementia, she was provided care with love and compassion from the worlds best caregivers. Our family is so very grateful, so with sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude , we say thank you so much to Cindy, Mylin, John, Agnes and Ronald.

Our mom will be truly missed, but her spirit will forever be in our family’s hearts.

The final resting place will be the  inurnment at Woodlawn Abbey Mausoleum (Rose Room).
