Norma Josephine Jaquez

Norma Josephine Jaquez was born to Seb and Josephine Maestas in Durango, CO on March 20, 1941.  She was the eldest of five children.  Norma married Max Jaquez in 1959.  They started their family near Farmington, NM. They eventually established a homestead in Fife, WA in 1966 where they raised six children.  Norma worked for the Fife School District as a school bus driver for many years until her retirement.  After retirement, Max and Norma settled near Summit, WA.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents.  She leaves her husband Max after 62 years of marriage and their six children: Joel, Clarence (Simone), Henry (Stefanie), Theron, Jeinise (David), and Andres (Sarah); along with extended family and loving friends.

Viewing will be noon to 4:00PM at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup on 12/17/21. On Saturday, 12/18/21, a reading of the rosary will precede a funeral mass at 11:00AM at St. Martin of Tours in Fife.  A graveside burial will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery following mass. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Conference at St. Martin of Tours.
