Nancy Ann Flink

November 27, 1930 — September 5, 2018

Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home. Nancy was born in O'Brien WA on November 27th 1930 to Agnes and Emmett Cochrane. Her name was originally Catherine, but her father called her Nancy, and she went by that all her life. After her father died in 1935, Agnes and her 4 daughters, Patrica, Jean, Nancy, and Joan moved to Seattle, where all the girls went to Holy Names Academy. Towards the end of WW2 Agnes married Steven Lone, they all moved to Lone farm in Auburn. Her brother Steve was born soon after. Nancy graduated from Auburn High in 1949, and later moved to Portland OR and married Charles Lind. Sadly in 1952, 6 weeks after the birth of their son Charles jr, her husband died. She moved back to Auburn, and in 1958 married Eddie Flink and had her second son Daniel, and in 1962 a daughter Diane. She divorced in 1968 and started work as a Van de Camps girl and then became a meat wrapper at Johnny's food centers. After retiring in 1992, she spent as much time as she could with her grand kids, traveling, and enjoying life. Sadly tragedy struck again when her eldest son Charles died in 1998. A few years later she moved to the 55+ mobile park Rio Verde where she enjoyed gardening, growing roses and begonias, and being the event bartender at the park, her favorite nightly Jim Beam, and of course spending time with the grand kids and great grand kids. After some health issues she moved in with her son Daniel and wife Barbara. She passed away on September 5, 2018. She was 87 years young. Nancy is survived by her son Daniel, daughter Diane, brother Steve, sister Jean, Grand kids, John, Crissy, Lacy, Rory, Riley, Rhonda, Great Grand kids Conner, Kenzie, nieces Molly, Stephanie, nephews David and Michael, and her loving dog and companion Kaylee. A Memorial service is set for Sept 18th at 11 am at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup
