Mike was born in San Francisco California to Robert and Julia Shea. He was their only child. Mike spent his formative years as an Army brat. As a family they lived in many parts of the US with a tour in Japan. Consequently, Mike attended eight different schools through his graduation from high school in Monterey California.
After graduation Mike moved on his own to Seattle, Living with his relatives the Gedney’s. He procured his first full time job in the auto parts industry which would become his lifelong vocation.
Mike was drafted and did a tour in Vietnam, finishing his enlistment in Colorado Springs where he met and married his first wife Bonnie.
Mike and Bonnie moved back to Seattle where Mike resumed his job at General Automotive Warehouse. It was there that Mike found his true calling in Sales.
Mike could not have chosen a more perfect career path. By his own admission, he didn’t know that much about cars. But, what he did know was how to sell and mastered the art of keeping both the seller and the buyer satisfied with the deal. With no formal training he reached the top of his profession, starting his own sales agency.
Mike’s second marriage was to Sally Jean McAuliffe. She was the love and joy of his life. They would remain committed to each other until her passing in 2015. He missed her every day.
Mike leaves behind his son Michael, daughter in law Bobbie Koch, granddaughters Bella and Lilla, Cousin Sherri Ewing, niece Corinne Wieder and many close friends.
We would like to thank Sherri for all her support and Corinne for her concern and care during Mikes time of need.
