Luverne was born April 7, 1926 in Onamia, Mn. to Arthur and Sophie Vergin.

On March 3, 1945 she married Robert Hoover and they had seven children.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and six sisters. She is survived by her seven children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

She loved large family gatherings, a good baseball game, gardening and playing cards, especially when she won.

She is affectionately called “Gaga” by her grandchildren who were the light of her eyes, just plain “Mom” to her children, and “Lovey” to her family members.  She WAS the family and will be greatly missed by all. We are sure the angels are dancing in heaven.
