Lucie Helle was born in Kelly Lake, Washington on November 17, 1925, to Antone and Mary Sader and passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on July 15, 2018. She is survived by her three children and two daughters-in-law: Kris Helle (Terry Hobert), Greg and Cyndi Helle, and Clark and Charlotte Helle. She also leaves a very special legacy in nine beloved grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her seven siblings and her loving husband, Clark Helle. Lucie attended Sumner High School and married the love of her life on June 21, 1947; she and Clark were married for 65 amazing years. During that time, they enjoyed going to Husky football games, traveling to Maui, and spending time with their family. Lucie will be remembered for her class and grace, her famous frozen chocolate chip cookies, cheering on the Mariners and Huskies and for her never-ending love of her family. A service will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sumner, WA Monday, July 23, 2018, at 11 a.m. There will be a viewing at Powers Funeral Home (Puyallup), Sunday July 22, 2018 from 1pm-3pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to St. Andrew Emmanuel Food Pantry. Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home.
