Lois Lucille (Akers) Krehbiel

Lois (Akers) Krehbiel passed away peacefully on April 1, 2018. Born in Harveyville, Kansas on November 15, 1926 to Russell and Mildred Akers. Lois married Robert J Krehbiel after completing High School. The family moved to Tacoma, WA in 1953 with 3 sons, Gary, Darrel and Stephen and in 1959 were blessed with a daughter Janice. They moved to Puyallup South Hill area in 1956, built three custom homes with all kitchens designed for Lois and her love for cooking, baking and sharing meals with family, friends, and extended family. She loved gardening, growing fresh vegetables for the family and summer canning. She is survived by her sons Gary (wife Gloria), Darrel (wife Darlene), Stephen and Daughter Janice Tilford (Krehbiel) (husband Dana), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. A memorial service for Lois is being held at Berean Baptist Church in Puyallup on April 28th at 11:00 am. The church is located at 9702 128th St E, Puyallup, WA 98373. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to New Hope Free Will Baptist Church. 14024 Stewart Rd. Sumner, WA 98390 Lois loved to support mission work.
