Lina (Linda) Godoy Abiva

In Loving Memory

Lina Linda Godoy Abiva passed away July 4, 2023, in Graham, WA surrounded by her daughter and son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and sisters at her side.

She was born on July 12, 1947, in Paracale Camarines Norte, Philippines.  On July 24, 1971, she married her late husband Maraco who served in the U.S. Navy and had transferred from San Diego, CA to Guam; Chicago, IL; St. Marys, GA, and to Graham, WA. She loved to cook, tend to her fruit trees, spend time with family, and play the slot machines at the casino.

In her new life, she will be greeted at the gates of heaven by her husband, Maraco Dedios Abiva.

Parents-in-law: Pablo A. & Adela D. Abiva

Brother/Sister-in-law: Cyril D. Godoy, Yvonne B. Godoy & Benjamin Abiva

Son: Roland G. Abiva

Grandson: Rowen Iann Abiva Cabanlong

Lina’s love and memories will be missed and cherished forever in the hearts of her:

Brother/Sister-in-laws: Lily (Abiva) & Virgil Abille, Dave & Sheryle Abiva, Noli & Siony Abiva, Art & Carina Abiva, Pablo Jr. & Joy Abiva, Jessie & Annette Abiva.

Lina also leaves behind numerous nieces/nephews, grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Last respects will be held on Friday, July 21st from 10:00am to 4:00 pm and on July 22nd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm with reception at Powers Funeral Home, 320 W. Pioneer Ave, Puyallup, WA 98371, (253) 845-0536.
