Lewis E. Pugh Jr was born July 3,1933 at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington D.C. He resided as a
youth in Norfolk VA where he attended Granby High School prior to his enlistment into the United States

Park Technical College Tacoma Washington (1972 to July I, 1994). Administration,
Counseling, Teaching and Director of Personal Developed and implemented
seven Vocational technical programs, Bowling maintenance, Vending Machine
Mechanic, Computerized Amusement Machine Repair Technician, Electronic
Fire/Security Technician, Heating and Air Conditioning Service Technician, Security
and Loss Prevention Specialist, and Plastic Technician. He developed and taught the
career exploration program (E.V.E) for Clover Park and Lakes High School students.
Provided over 1,620 high school students with career education that assisted 90% of
the high school students gaining employable skills. Five of which came back to work
within the Clover Park School District as secretaries and teachers. For 15 years (1982
to 1997) he was the monthly guess speaker for The Washington Women's Employment
Education (WWEE) program in Tacoma Washington. He provided hundreds of woman
who were on the state welfare rolls with knowledge of educational opportunities
which existed through Vocational education along with financial management and
budget skills. Awarded the Outstanding Vocational Program award for the
State of Washington (1976).
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nella M. Pugh of Green County Tenn.; three
children-- Lewis E. Pugh 111-- Jeffery S. Pugh and Kristy J. Pugh. Four step
children Sharon Baker (Dahl)--Janice Baker (Kanar)--David Baker and ]eb Baker.
