Lee Labrash

September 19, 1937 — February 13, 2024

Lee passed away on February 13, 2024. Daughter of Juanita and Charles H. Olson. Born in Tacoma, her family settled in the Sumner Valley in 1944. She attended Sumner schools until graduation in 1955. She loved band (the french horn) and school. Lee Married Robert LaBrash in 1957 and moved to Puyallup. They had five children and she spent many years raising them, volunteering as Room Mother, Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, PTA and more. She began her Real Estate career in 1972, opening her own office, “Lee LaBrash and Associates” in 1981 in downtown Puyallup where she was the Founder and Broker until her passing. She became an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Daffodil Festival Board and as a founding member of the Puyallup Mainstreet Association, she was honored with the title, “Mother of Mainstreet”. Her honesty, integrity, positive attitude and tireless efforts in every aspect of her life was second to none. Her kindness and generosity toward others and her zest for life will be remembered by everyone. She loved gardening, traveling, and gathering her family and friends together for every possible occasion. Her family was most precious to her as were her close friends and their families. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Gail Shoemaker Turner and Jean Curbow, brother Charlie Olson, her daughter Mary Bejmuk, her granddaughter Sara LaBrash and her late husband Wayne Bennett. She leaves behind her children, Robert LaBrash, Laurie (Ray) Pierri, Kerry LaBrash, Patrick LaBrash, Son-in-law, Bohdan Bejmuk, Lisa Mitchell who was like a daughter, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her Spouse Donald Collier, step-children, and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends. Lee was deeply loved, she will be greatly missed and shall be remembered always in our hearts, until we meet again.

Services will be held at Powers Funeral Home on Friday, March 1st at 1:00pm.

A celebration of life will follow at the Pioneer Park Pavilion in downtown Puyallup.
