Lars Sandvik

Lars Sandvik, born December 13, 1933 in Norway. Passed peacefully May 1, 2021 in Pierce County, WA. He worked from the age of 15 until his retirement as a Norwegian Merchant Marine. Rising from a Engine Room Boy to a Licensed Marine Electrician, then to a Licensed Marine Engineer, to Chief Engineer.

Curious and ever-learning, he read, hiked, used his workshop to improve his home, gold-panned, went sight seeing, and enjoyed shopping.

Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, he is survived by his wife, Joyce, niece Kari and nephew Hans Reidar.
