June Packer went to heaven on April 24th in Shelton, WA. She is dancing on streets of gold with her beloved husband George Packer. Alongside them are their children Ed Packer, Bob Packer and Tess Packer.
June was 92 and passed away peacefully from natural causes. She was born in Seattle and graduated from Franklin High School. In 1956 she moved to Puyallup and lived there for 64 years. During that time June was an active member of the Light of the Hill and United Methodist Churches.
She will be remembered as a vibrant, loving friend and family member. In her own words, "Remember how much I have enjoyed life. I have been blessed with the ability to laugh easily, love deeply, forgive easily and have learned that with every tragic event in my life some good has come from it."
She is survived by her three sons and their wives; Ed and Judy Jones, Jim and Gale Packer and Blake and Michelle Jones. June was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was loved beyond words.
