Pepita was a strong independent woman and a true warrior you could depend on if you were in a bind.
She was known for her generosity, loving spirit, witty personality and playful heart. She could light up a room and have everyone laughing.
Pepita was diagnosed with dementia in 2010. Although this was very sad news, she never forgot her joy, smile or laughter. She loved to dance and sing. She was an amazing seamstress and made a lot of her own clothes, for herself and her family. Some of her other hobbies included knitting, loved making baby outfits and blankets. She also had a green thumb. Her home was always full of beautiful plants.
One of her famous quotes was “You will get a lot further with honey than with vinegar.”
She was a faithful devoted wife and mother. She lost her husband Floydentino Tarin age 44 in 1976 and a daughter Julie Tarin age 43 in 2008. Through her losses she found strength in her faith in God. She was a dedicated member of the Jehovah witnesses.
She left behind two children Alicia Tarin age 58. Javier Tarin age 52. Six granddaughters, four great grandsons, one great granddaughter.
Pepita strongly believed that in her after life she would be resurrected and live in a Paradise world here on earth and be reunited with the people of her faith.
