Joan Hoagland was called to Heaven where there is no pain and suffering on March 11, 2020 at the age of 85. She was born on December 11, 1934 in Denison, Iowa. She was the daughter of Bryce and Edna Tucker.
Joan married the love of her life Stanley “Scotty” Hoagland on July 12, 1958 in Seattle, Wa. They were married 21 years until his passing in 1980. Joan and Scotty had two children (Shawn and Sherri).

Joan enjoyed the beach, cooking, stained glass, sewing, crossword puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She would visit her loving husband every Easter and enjoyed her monthly Ladies’ Birthday Group lunch dates.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents Bryce and Edna Tucker, her husband, Scotty and brother John Tucker.
Joan is survived by her brother James Tucker (Deb), children Shawn (Michelle) their two children Erika and Kyle, Sherri (Nick) their three children Jennifer, Ashley, and Nicholas.
The family would like to thank our friends and family for their thoughts, visits, and prayers as well as the Bonney Lake Comfort Care Staff for their exceptional and loving care of Joan (Grammie) these past few weeks.
