We knew this day would come, (and we are thankful it was later rather than sooner), that we would be announcing the passing of our beloved mother, Helen Harriet (Emry, Hannus) Feldman on January 22, 2019, from death unto everlasting life. "Verily, verily I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on Him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24. She believed on Him! Helen was born on February 12, 1927 in Burnett, WA; the 6th of 7 children to Willard and Margaret Emry. Her siblings who preceded her in death are Ennis Zink, Jeanette Marshall, Eugene Emry, Carroll Emry, Joyce Ross and Elizabeth Brady. She is survived by her four daughters, Kristy (and husband Alton) McFadden, Karol (and husband Ned) Bankston, Connie Linsten, Claire (and husband Robert) Ellis, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She grew up in Buckley, WA, graduated from the class of '45, married Kenneth Hannus in 1947 and they raised their 4 daughters in Enumclaw and Auburn. She later married Al Feldman. She has lived in Puyallup for 15 years, until just recently moving to the Avalon Care Center in Federal Way, WA where she received loving care. She was a most curious person, always interested and engaged in many things including what was going on in each of our lives, and really wanted to know and understand and encourage us on. She was proud of us and we were proud of her. We will miss our Mother, Mama, Grandma, GG, Hattie.
