Grace Willidean Bachmann

Grace Willidean Bachmann (91 years old) born August 15,1932; passed away in the early morning of a glorious day, May 12, 2024. Grace peacefully passed away on the most beautiful day to honoring God’s beautiful servant, Mother’s Day surrounded by family.

Grace was born in Portland, OR in 1932; then living and growing up in Napa Valley, California. She moved to the Pacific Northwest with her family, in the early 1940’s. They lived in Northeast Tacoma for years, then moving to the Puyallup/Sumner area. Grace graduated from Sumner Senior High School in 1951. Grace met and married William F. Bachmann in 1952. They worked together and grew the family business, Bachmann Dairy Farm well into the 1980’s. Grace dedicated her life to working on the Dairy Farm alongside her husband, putting in long hours and tireless efforts to ensure the Farms success; then retiring from Dairy Farming. As the years progressed her passion was sewing, creating, and building her own business with fabric and creating her own designs. She was a published Artist several times with worldwide publications. She worked in the fabric industry for over 40 years. It was a love and passion in creating her art. Grace was a beautiful child of God being a faithful worshiper of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. God was her rock, her refuge, and her comforter. Grace loved and worshiped her world with God.

Grace is survived by her two sons, Thomas Bachmann, Steve Bachmann and her daughter Karen Bachmann. Grace was blessed to have a 55; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandbabies. They all were her source of love and joy; she prayed every day for the Lord’s guidance, health, and peace for each and every one of them. Her power of prayer was living God’s word and praying for the world and prayed for peace to all. Grace is preceded in death by her husband; William F. Bachmann, Fred Bachmann (Son), Michael Bachmann (Son) Her parents; William and Grace Rowe, her brother William Rowe. Her Grandson, Jonathan Bachmann, and Son in Law Marty Johnson (Karen)

She will be dearly missed by so many; family, extended family, and her cherished girlfriends, and to all that admired her beautiful heart and smile. We all loved her dearly and know that Grace’s eternal soul will soar. God Bless

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM - Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 1401 Valley Ave, Sumner, WA 98390.  Grace will be laid to rest at the Sumner Cemetery.

O Loving Father, Source of all life, please accompany Your servant, Grace from this earth to the Kingdom of heavenly peace, rest and eternal life that You have prepared for us.
