After a hard-fought battle with a series of health issues, Gloria Irene (Roe) Brundage (age 70) passed away peacefully in her Puyallup home on March 3rd. Her daughter, Monica and her good friend, Walt Scott was at her bedside, providing comfort and care until the end.
Gloria was born in Spokane, WA on September 18, 1951 and was one of four children. She attended Clover Park High School (1969) followed by a lengthy career working for both Redmond Property Management and Pease Construction. Gloria was known for her feistiness and her resilience, but where she shone most was in her profound love for her three children.
She is survived by Wesley Pease (son), Monica Pease (daughter), Matthew Pease (son), grandchildren: Jacob Pease, Mariah Sienkiewich, Elizabeth Sienkiewich and Nathan Sienkiewich, as well as her brothers Tom Roe and John Roe. She is preceded in death by husband(s) Rodney Jermundson and Craig Brundage and by her sister “Kitty” Oliver.
Gloria was dedicated and hard-working at both work and at home. She had a great sense of humor and a love for life. Her greatest loves (beyond family) were her numerous dogs, gardening, knitting, shopping, traveling (mostly to Maui), sharing a glass of wine with friends, and decorating her home. Most of all, she was known for her fierce independence and determination to take care of whatever needed to be done! She passed that same spirit on to her family who will miss her dearly.
Services to honor Gloria’s life will be held at Powers Funeral Home, 320 W Pioneer in Puyallup, WA on Friday, March 18th at 10 am; graveside at Woodbine Cemetery immediately following.
