Jerry Desmul beloved father, son and friend passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2022. Jerry is survived by his wife Pam, daughter Reilly, son Jerry, parents David & Bernie, brothers David and Jason and their wives, nephew Ashton and nieces Samantha and Emily and his fur babies Raini, Ollie and Lola.
Born in Portland, OR Jerry grew up with his family in Buckley. He graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1986 and immediately enlisted in the Navy. Jerry served his country honorably for four years. After the military worked his way up the ranks in Walmart. Finally, Jerry started his own business in 1996. Jerry was always striving to learn more and better himself. At age 40, Jerry went to college where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UW Tacoma. Never one to rest, Jerry continued on to Seattle University Law School where he graduated in 1986 with his Juris Doctorate. At the time of his death, Jerry proudly served as founder and President of Lucent Auto Work.
Jerry ran marathons, loved camping, big giant campfires and jeeping. Jerry loved his kids, Jerry and Reilly. Hard work and perseverance were cornerstones of Jerry’s life. Jerry was a friend to many, day and night. Jerry will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held Friday, September 23 @ 3pm at The Five2Five Event Center, 525 S Division St, Buckley, WA 98321. All are welcome. Donations may be made in Jerry’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project - www.woundedwarriorproject.org .
