Frank Philip True

It is with great sadness that we announce that Frank True passed away after a long battle with cancer on December 11, 2017 at the age of 78. He was born on May 9, 1939 in Aberdeen, WA. He is survived by his wife Margaret of 14 years; son Eric; daughter TaeJa, 6 grandchildren, 5 step-children and 8 step-grandchildren; and pre-deceased by daughter Elisa. Frank was a partner of Trinity Church in Tacoma, WA. He was a man of many talents and interests. His hobbies included motorcycle racing, cars, music (guitars and banjos), bronze sculpturing, wood-working, making model airplanes and studying the scripture. His jobs consisted of drafter and analyst at Boeing, and an artist and sculptor. Later in life, he was called to the ministry and was a pastor at Home, WA and Graham, WA. He retired at he age of 65. Viewing will be at Powers Funeral Home on Friday, December 15th, 1-5 pm. Celebration of Frank's life will be Wednesday, December 20th at 1 pm at Trinity Church in Tacoma, WA.
