On Thursday, January 7, 2021, Filomena Antonlin Letourneau, loving wife and caring mother, passed away peacefully at the age of 62 surrounded by family.
Filomena was born and raised in Asingan, Pangasinan, Philippines on December 11, 1958. Later, she moved to Seattle, WA to join her family, in June 1990. She had a passion for teaching and would often volunteer to teach the neighborhood children math, writing and music. She received her Bachelor of Science degree n Accounting from the University of Baguio in 1978.
On June 27, 1992 she married the love of her life, Maurice Letourneau. Together they had one daughter, Jessica. Filomena and Maurice loved to travel any spare moment they had, often taking weekend getaways on the back of their Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
She was known for her compassionate spirit, generous heart and never-ending patience. Filomena was preceded in death by her father, Gaudencio and mother, Asuncion and her sister Thelma. She is survived by her husband Maurice, and her daughter Jessica, her four siblings: Emma, Minda, Romel and Roy and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at All Saints Church in downtown Puyallup at 11am, followed by a burial on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Sumner Cemetery at 11am.
