Ellen Anna Ehinger

Ellen Anna Ehinger was born August 14, 1921 in Anoka, Nebraska and lived until July 15, 2019. She was the youngest of eight children born to Robert and Anna Boettcher. When she graduated from Lynch High School at the age of 16, she took normal training through the mail and became a teacher. She taught one year in a one room school with eight grades. Ellen then begain her training to become a beautician and was employed in Seattle when she met and married Ernest C. Ehinger on February 6, 1942. Ellen had five children, eight grandchildren and has 10 great grandchildren so far. husband Ernie, son Norman, daughter Diane and one great grandchild that preceded her in death. Ellen was a great cook, baker, seamstress and all around amazing homemaker. No one ever visited without eating cookies, pies or cinnamon rolls.
