Elisabeth Theresia Franziska Smith

Elisabeth StraBer Smith was born May 5, 1930 in Vilsbiburg, Germany. Moved to the United States
1964 and married Aubrey Smith, who was in the US Army at the time. While Aubrey completed his
service career, Elisabeth spent most of the time in Tacoma. She worked for Brown and Halely's
Candy company for several years. When they retired they love to travel and cruise among other
ventures. Nothing brought her more joy than working in her garden where she raised beautiful flowers
for every one to enjoy. From greeting people on her walks to socializing with her neighbors at the
community center, she was beloved and friend and consider family by the Harvest Gate Community.
She peacefully passed away at Deer Ridge Memory Care on December 25,2022.
Sis proceeded in death by her husband, Aubrey, and son Peter who lived in Germany. She is
survived by grandson Stephan , granddaughter Petra, and two great-grandchildren all living in
Germany.
