Dorothy Lourene DeRocher (Dottie) 85, was born on October 6, 1937, in Payette Idaho.
Dottie lived in the Sumner & Puyallup WA area most of her life, graduating from Sumner High School in 1955. She married Lawrence DeRocher (Larry) in 1956, and they owned and managed the Hill Top Café at the top of Bonney Lake hill for several years before moving to Puyallup.
Music and Art were her passion. She grew up in a musical family and from 1964 to 1987 Dottie and Larry played music in the family band all over the Pacific Northwest. She earned the lifetime achievement award, among many others, from the Northwest Country Music Association. In later years, she led a band of musicians at the Sumner Senior Center for 20+ years.
Dottie loved to camp with her husband and family and was a member of the Puyallup Elks & Eagles and enjoyed camping with the Daffodil Roamers RV Club.

Art and painting, she was frequently asked to design and paint holiday windows for her family and friends.
Dottie was preceded in death by her husband in 2003 and is survived by sons Dennis (Emma) DeRocher, Harold DeRocher, Daughters Nancy DeRocher, and Gail (Mario) DeRocher-Garcia, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
