The world lost an amazing man. Donovan "Bud" Fouts, passed away peacefully November 4th in Puyallup surrounded by his family. Bud was born in Dow City, Iowa and moved to the Pacific Northwest area as a child where grew up, married and raised a family. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1949 after which he enlisted and served in the US Navy. Bud was a devoted husband and father for 63+ years. Bud served his Community active in the Knights of Columbus 809, Eagles, and Elks 1450. He worked with his hands his entire life and was a member of IBEW local 76, he could fix and build damn near anything. He liked cheap whiskey and cheaper scotch and a formal gathering to him involved his RV, BBQ, bonfire, and good friends. He raised and always provided for his wife and five children. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and gardening keeping the pantry and freezer always full of his harvest. He was a lifetime member of RMEF Mt Rainer chapter. He was a traveler and explorer his entire life being an active member in FMCA and other local RV travel clubs, logging thousands of miles traveling the highways of the U.S. and Canada. This passion he passed on to all of his family. Bud was preceded in death by his parents Cleo and Floyd, his son Lee, baby daughter Ruth. He is survived by his wife Marje, daughters - Linda, Marie, Ann, son Keith and sisters Marlene and Bonnie, 7 grandchildren and a great grandson.
