Donna Babb Sanders

Donna Babb Sanders, was born on September 30, 1949, and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Donna was born in Port Hueneme, California to Hoyt and Leota Babb. She spent most of her childhood in Lakewood, California with her sister, Debi. She acquired an AA degree from Long Beach City College and eventually became the director of the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Puyallup. She was passionate about saving the lives of the unborn. Donna was married to Richard Sanders for 27 years before he passed away in November, 1996. They had 2 sons, Wade and Joe. Donna loved entertaining and cooking. She was a joy to her neighbors and her friends. One of those neighbors described Donna as one who always listened, always made time for you and never judged. She was also an avid reader and often participated in Bible studies. Her most recent job was working at Safeway. She is survived by her two sons, Wade and Joe, her daughters-in-law, Amanda and Kim, her grandsons, Richie, Cody and Perry, her father, Hoyt Babb, her sister, Debra Mitchell, brother-in law, John, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Richard, and her mother, Leota Babb. A graveside service will be held for family and close friends on May 3rd, 10am at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup. At 1pm, a memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Christian Center in Puyallup.
