Eventually their love of the beach led them to buying a vacation home in Long Beach, Washington. Many wonderful weekends were spent with friends and family flying kites, playing on the beach and putting puzzles together.
He had a love of gardening and in his greenhouse planted thousands of vegetable seeds. He shared these seeds and the vegetables he grew with friends and family. Each year the grandkids would come over and select their pumpkins from his garden.
He is survived by five children Michael (Krissy), Patrick (Becky), Douglas (Kathy), Kevin (Amanda) and Dee, grandchildren Kristi, Jennelle, Michael Morgan, Franki, Tucker, Anna Marie, Peter, Trevor, Andrew, Chelsea, Geoff and Clare, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
