David Evon Rieken David Evon Rieken, 71, passed away on Thursday, April 11th, 2019 in Seattle, Washington surrounded by his loved ones. He was born December 19th, 1947 to Fred and Barbara (Jacquim) Rieken in Wallace, Idaho. On October 9th, 1971 he married Cheryl Elliott in Yakima, Washington. David enjoyed reading western books, NRA, drag racing, anything that involved tools and was retired from United States Air Force, Qwest Communications and Boeing. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and friend to many. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, his three children, daughter Tabatha (Husband Rex) of Tacoma WA, David Jr (Wife Susan) of Phoenix, AZ, John (Melissa) of Tacoma, WA and four Grandchildren, Jordan, Kaelin, Brett and Gracie. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and siblings Dan Rieken and Karen Williams. We are holding his service at Tahoma National Cemetery located in Covington, Washington at 2PM on May 17th (They have requested we line up 20 minutes prior to the service).
