David Lew Brunoff was born in 1933 in Edgewood, Washington to Edward and Gretchen Brunoff. David was the youngest of four children. David graduated from Fife High School in 1951.After graduation he joined the Navy and proudly served during the Korean Conflict.
He then began his career with IBM, as a computer technician, repairing and working on mainframe systems for the next 38 years.In 1958, he married Christine Lisbet Ameln. They welcomed five daughters into their family over the years.
Dave's true passion was his family. He raised his girls instilling the family belief through example and alot of hard work and laughter.
David was preceeded in death by his wife of 47 years and daughter Loretta Forman in 2005.
He is survived by four daughters Sharon Fyalka and son in law Paul, daughter Terese Brunoff, daughter Diane Williamson, son in law Paul and daughter Janette Bowers. Dave was the proudest of his five grandchildren. Tashia (Cody) Lutz, Karl Forman, Alex Forman, Ashlee (Troy) Wilson and Emma Bowers.
After retiring Dave enjoyed hiking, walking, running his tractor and cruises, many cruises. He was joined starting several years ago by a very special woman in his life, Lorainne Krank. They enjoyed many cruises and adventures together. She shared his love of reading and they would spend every evening talking on the phone.
David, Daddy, Grandpa and Friend you will be missed so much but ALWAYS in our hearts. You brought so much to our lives.
