Clifford Earl McNutt Age 84, passed away December 31, 2021. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and avid sports and games fan. Cliff was born January 2, 1937, in Worland, WY, and raised by his loving parents, Willard and Ann McNutt. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife of 51 years, Carole Sue McNutt (July 2017). Upon marrying Carole Sue in 1966, they moved to Sumner, where they raised their daughters. Cliff had a diverse career including Budget Director for the State of Wyoming, Boeing Consultant Services, and owned his own automotive sales business. Cliff was a prominent member of the community, at one time serving as a City Council Member. Upon retirement in 2015, he and Carole relocated to Phoenix, AZ. After Carole’s passing, Cliff moved back to Graham where he spent the last 5 years living in Azalea Gardens where he enjoyed playing games at the clubhouse, having coffee with the men’s group, and driving security runs around the neighborhood. Cliff will be remembered by all for his natural leadership, his generosity, lending a helping hand and his penchant for sharing a good story or laugh. He is survived by his loving family: brothers Walt and Bill McNutt, sister Jacquie McNutt, sons Clifford and Doug Doty, daughters Jayne (Jim) Leighty and Julie (Alan) Eaton, and four grandchildren Sarah, Matthew, Joshua, and Andrew Eaton. He will be missed dearly. A small memorial for family only will be held in Washington in the early spring. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that anyone interested make a donation to the American Lung Association in Cliff’s memory (https://www.lung.org/).
